History

Pictured above: First Sunday Gathering, Fall, 2014.

Living Hope Church began meeting in the Fall of 2014, in Bowie, as a church plant of Solid Rock Church, in partnership with Sovereign Grace Churches. Over time the geographic center of our membership shifted and since 2020 we have met in Crofton. In 2021 we experienced a transition in leadership, as our founding pastor retired; Leo Vadalà was officially ordained as an elder, and Adam Campbell became the lead pastor of Living Hope.

Through transitions of leadership and geography, our passion remains the same: to proclaim Christ and build a community around the gospel. We have found that our smaller size has been an advantage in living life as a church family.  Our investment in relationships in the church and in the community around us is strengthened by living close to one another. Most of our membership live in Crofton, Gambrills, Bowie, and Upper Marlboro–all along the Route 3 corridor.
