Week to Week
Where does life together happen?
Sunday Worship
This is the main event of the week! We sing and pray, and listen to God speak to us through the preaching of His Word. Children have their own Bible learning time with their teachers in class.
Community Groups
Our community groups meet every other week in church members’ homes around the area. A typical group meeting starts with sharing a meal and conversation , then moving into Bible reading and prayer. Friendships are born, shaped, and fortified by these regular gatherings, and Living Hope Church members make them a top priority. Children are welcome, but childcare is not provided during these meetings.
- Tuesday – 6:30pm, Upper Marlboro
- Wednesday – 6:00pm , Gambrills
- Wednesday – 6:30pm, Bowie
- Thursday – 6:00pm, Millersville
Youth Activities
Once a month after Sunday service, Living Hope Church hosts our “God Squad” club meeting for the youth of the church. This is a unique space for young people in a pivotal time of life, to make friends, play a game, have snacks, and talk bible and life questions with their senior pastor. This meeting is open to kids 5th grade and up, as well as their parents.
These coordinated meetings are not all that happen in our church, though they are the heart of our week-to-week activity. Seasonally, Living Hope Church organizes game nights, camping trips, bonfires, picnics, community work days, special marriage or parenting classes, and parties. These bigger events, along with coffee dates, playdates, and other little connection times throughout the week, are how church members grow relationships and build community. Through knowing each other, we can live out the command of Jesus in John 13:34-35 to love one another like He does.
